This chorus is similar in style to the native Tamborera typical music of Panama. A Melancholic and melodious song in the Minor mode, with typical Spanish progressions. Alonso has added a ‘’Brinco’’ (also called
Mambo among Latin musicians) towards the conclusions of the song. Gene Jefferson renders a sparkling solo on the flute.
